ABOUT MAUREEN

Maureen has a gift for finding talent and pushing people to see their potential. She spent a decade working at start-up companies in the real estate and the beauty space, helping launch new verticals whether in management or as an individual contributor. Prior to working at start-up companies, Maureen worked as a TV reporter and/or news anchor at ABC, CBS, FOX or NBC affiliates all over the country. Today, Maureen is the co-executive producer of NW Productions LLC, which is an entertainment, production and public relations company. She is also a published author of an award-winning book, It Takes Moxie, with the foreword written by Dr. Connie Mariano who was the White House Doctor to three US Presidents. Additionally, Maureen is the co-founder and executive producer of The Global Beauty Awards show, which is now in its 8th year. TGBAs earned Gold Honors from AVA Digital Awards for its Social Impact.

I am truly honored to have been part of the @ascen

I am truly honored to have been part of the @ascendseattlechapter for over a decade, serving in various roles from Events Director to President, and now as a member of the Advisory Board.

Recently, we had an open and heartfelt discussion about Women Empowerment: Different Seasons of Life. We covered a wide range of topics, including imposter syndrome, finding joy, and reinventing ourselves. The women in this group are mothers, wives, executives, entrepreneurs, or just starting their journey—and surprisingly, we found that we have far more in common than differences.

My key takeaways from the conversation were powerful:

Every setback is a setup for something bigger.
It’s important to let go of guilt when taking time for self-care.

Surround yourself with a community that fosters and supports your growth.

Witnessing the week-long celebration of Randy Lloyd’s 60th birthday was nothing short of magical from deep sea fishing to an afternoon at the spa. Our bellies ached from laughter, and we were surrounded by an abundance of food and love. It’s clear that behind every successful man is a woman who supports him unconditionally. Randy’s heartfelt words, ‘I couldn’t do this without you, Jennifer, by my side. I need you’ brought tears to all of our eyes.

Last year, I set the intention to bring a group of women together for healing, clarity, and to cultivate abundance and gratitude. That intention led to the creation of The Global Beauty Awards Leadership Retreat, where each of us embarked on our own personal journey of clarity, peace, and gratitude.

What I will take away from this weekend is the deep love I have for each of these women. They embody strength, resilience, and empowerment.

First, Dr. Connie, thank you for leading us and for inviting us to this magical space @mii_amo_spa. As you approach your birthday, you’ve taught me invaluable lessons about having a grateful heart and what true excellence looks like.

Jennifer, this is our second Mii Amo journey together, and each one has been transformative. I can’t think of anyone else who I want to go on this intimate journey with.

I’m also deeply grateful to our husbands for supporting our families while we focused on ourselves.

Paula and Amy, you two are the ultimate leadership duo. I’ve loved watching your friendship flourish and seeing the magic that happens when you two are together—it’s truly special and rare.

I’m still floating on cloud nine after such an intimate and joy-filled engagement party! Being asked to officiate this upcoming 2025 wedding 💒 nuptials occasion was an easy “yes.”

Throughout my life, I’ve held many titles—mom, wife, friend, mentor, state director, business owner, and TV news reporter/anchor—but being your officiant truly means the world to me.
